Another R2-Moderate event from Region 2205

Another R2-Moderate event from Region 2205
published: Thursday, November 06, 2014 13:52 UTC

Region 2205 produced another R2-Moderate radio blackout (M7 X-ray flare) on 5 November at 0947 UTC (0547 EST). Imagery is just coming in, but initial indications point to the majority of the ejecta being directed away from the Earth. Impacts to Earth's magnetosphere are not likely, though there remains a slight chance for an energetic particle event from this flare.  Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
